Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a patient population that includes oncology, step-down, and sickle cell cases
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments in accordance with facility protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license with verified Nursys license verification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical specialty within a similar-sized facility
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work mid shifts with no requested time off (RTO) during the contract period
• Complete work history/resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification (Chemo certified)
• Experience caring for oncology or sickle cell patient populations
• Prior experience in a step-down or higher-acuity Medical/Surgical environment
