Registered Nurse – Wound Care (Outpatient)

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | No weekends, no holidays, no on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing assessments and deliver evidence-based care to patients with acute and chronic wounds in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform wound treatments and dressing changes in accordance with organizational policies and evidence-based practices
• Provide patient and family education related to wound care, healing, and prevention
• Coordinate care and collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support patient healing and safety
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or valid compact RN license required at time of submission – no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required – no exceptions
• Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility location
• No prior license or background hits will be considered – no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient wound care setting
• Familiarity with wound care assessment tools and evidence-based wound treatment protocols
