Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (17:30–06:00) | Every Other Weekend and Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Float between NICU, Pediatric Acute Care, and Adult Acute Care settings as required
• Perform airway management, ventilator management, and ABG collection and analysis
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Conduct suctioning and pulmonary toileting procedures
• Administer respiratory medications and monitor patient responses
• Provide respiratory care across General Care, NICU, Pediatric, and Adult Intensive Care units

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist license – must be in hand prior to start date
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Ability and willingness to float within the facility and to affiliate locations – mandatory for all travelers
• COVID and Influenza vaccinations required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Trauma center, Teaching hospital, or Emergency Room setting
• Bronchoscopy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Experience operating Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 ventilators
