Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | No weekends required | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound care nursing services within a large acute care teaching hospital setting
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex wound care needs in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized wound care plans
- Float to like units within the same facility as needed to support patient care demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care (WOCN) RN
- Current BLS certification required
- WOCN certification required (continence certification not required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
