Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite | No weekends required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care nursing services within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex wound conditions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized wound care treatment plans
• Float to like units within the facility as needed to support staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care (WOCN) RN
• Current BLS certification required
• WOCN certification required (continence certification not required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric wound care experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in a Magnet, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
