Contract | Days | 4x10-hour varying shifts (shift start times range from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Includes on-call obligation of 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend every 3–4 weeks with a 30-minute response time
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral and vascular cases as well as right and left heart catheterizations
- Scrub device cases and assist in electrophysiology (EP) procedures as needed
- Utilize department-specific systems including XIM charting, EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, and Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems
- Badge in and out of the facility for all shifts
- Participate in the on-call mandate list to fill vacant call shifts not otherwise covered
- Complete orientation focused on monitoring in XIM and demonstrating proficiency in scrubbing and circulating
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of Cath Lab experience required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor in a high-volume cath lab environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RCIS or RCES certification preferred
- Prior experience working in EP cases and with device procedures
- Familiarity with XIM, Xcelera, or Philips/Siemens fluoroscopy systems
