Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level 3 NICU and adult care settings, adapting to variable patient ratios and coverage areas as needed
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators, including PB 840 and Draeger vent systems, to support neonatal and adult patients
- Assist with deliveries and administer surfactant as required within the NICU environment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
- Collaborate as part of a team-oriented respiratory therapy staff, contributing to unit coverage including potential weekend shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- NICU experience required</b>; candidates without NICU experience will not be considered
- Experience in both adult and Level 3 NICU settings
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and weekends as needed
- Adherence to facility dress code: Royal Blue scrubs required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience with PB 840 and Draeger ventilators
- Experience with neonatal deliveries and surfactant administration
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR platform
