Travel - Cath Lab Tech - CATH/EP

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Four 10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with all procedures performed in the Electrophysiology and Cardiac Catheterization laboratory setting
• Perform and support procedures including all types of pacemaker implantations, ablations, Watchman, and Cryoablation
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with a minimum of 3 staff per room; support 4-staff coverage for VT Ablation procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot unit equipment including GE and ESI systems
• Document accurately using Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• Fulfill call requirements as part of the standard shift schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current ACLS certification required
• EKG training required
• Previous experience scrubbing all Electrophysiology procedures in an acute care setting (required for CV/EP Techs)
• Proficiency with GE and/or ESI lab equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to function independently and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Previous travel assignment experience in a Cath Lab or EP Lab setting
