Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting, including neuro, cardiovascular, multi-trauma, and surgical populations
• Care for patients presenting with stroke (thrombectomy-capable stroke center), STEMI, CABG/Valve, IABP, CRRT, and sepsis
• Manage multi-trauma cases including motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic injuries within a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Float between ICU and PCU overflow units as needed to support census demands
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all documentation and charting

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; strong neuro experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• LA Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days
• No pending license or background hits; all license/background history must be disclosed at time of submission
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated acute care facility
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Prior experience floating between ICU and PCU or overflow units
