Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in an acute care surgical environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 4–6 call shifts per 6-week cycle, including weekend call)
- Float between facilities within the state as required by assignment needs
- Complete required facility orientation modules prior to start and annually thereafter
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of surgical technologist experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Valid California state license must be in hand prior to start
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Mediteach charting system
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting with 392 or more staffed beds
