Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite | Acute Care Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within an active surgical services department operating across 8 rooms with a daily census of approximately 25 cases
• Perform on-call duties as required by the needs of the unit
• Float within the contracted facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as directed
• Work weekends per the needs of the unit
• Participate in holiday coverage, with willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required; 5 years strongly preferred
• California state license preferred; pending CA license accepted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility or be willing to accept local rate if within radius
• Must be willing and able to float between sister facilities as assigned
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• 5 or more years of surgical technologist experience in an acute care setting
• Active California state license in hand at time of submission
