Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Multiple shift options available Monday–Friday (0630–1500, 1100–1930, 1400–2230) | 5 Days / 8 Hours | Projected Start: 06/08/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care in the operating room utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments
• Cover GI cases both during scheduled weekday shifts and on call, as well as support a broad range of surgical service lines including general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, reconstructive plastics, and podiatry
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and connect with appropriate resources

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room or surgical nursing specialty
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, multi-service-line surgical environment
• Ability to submit and have approved any requested time off prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system highly preferred
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery platforms (XI, DV5, ION) a plus
• Cardiovascular surgical experience a plus
