Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Travel Contract)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | Projected Start: June 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients including inductions, antepartum monitoring, and postpartum recovery
- Circulate the OR for cesarean section deliveries and assist with procedures such as BTL, cerclage, D&C, and mechanical dilators
- Monitor patients using GE fetal monitoring equipment and document care using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Manage patients across unit areas including LDRs, OBED, recovery bays, ORs, and antepartum beds at established patient ratios
- Adhere to unit protocols including Oxytocin Protocol, maternal hemorrhage guidelines, magnesium sulfate administration, and MEWS
- Fulfill call and weekend requirements per schedule (approximately twice per schedule cycle)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience circulating the OR for cesarean section deliveries
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Postpartum care background
- Experience with outpatient OB services such as Rhogam administration, iron infusion, antenatal steroids, and OBED monitoring
- Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
