Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
• Assist with and support procedures performed on the unit including versions, circumcisions, and C-sections
• Monitor patients using Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and operate unit equipment including pumps and specialty beds
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse and CPN Connect electronic health record systems
• Maintain patient ratios per unit guidelines: L&D 1–2:1, Postpartum 3:1, Gyn/Pedi 3–4:1
• Float to other units as needed in a helping hands, sitter, or virtual capacity per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery and Postpartum (LDRP) experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Nursery or NICU settings
• STABLE and/or PALS certification
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar electronic health record systems
