Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times (7:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00) | Includes Call Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in the PACU setting
• Assist with pre-admission phone calls for surgical patients as needed
• Float within the contracted facility as well as to nearby affiliate facilities when required
• Participate in on-call shifts as part of the variable schedule
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of PACU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to float to affiliate facilities in the surrounding region
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify at standard contract terms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pre-admission nursing assessments or surgical coordination
• Prior travel nursing experience with a track record of adaptability across facilities
• Familiarity with PACU workflows in a multi-site or regional health system
