Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, delivering high-acuity obstetric nursing care
• Participate in weekend coverage as required per the unit schedule
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, compliance requirements, and unit-specific protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
• Must submit all time-off requests prior to or at the time of submission; post-offer requests may not be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery environment
• Familiarity with children's hospital or trauma center settings
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients with minimal supervision
