CT Scan Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM) | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scan procedures across a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital environment
  • Operate Siemens CT equipment including Force (Somaris 7), Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
  • Adapt to a variable daily caseload based on shift and unit needs
  • Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential rotation to sister facilities
  • Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic

Required Qualifications

  • Active BLS certification required
  • ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
  • SCRQSA (R)(CT) licensure required — must be active and in hand at time of start
  • Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment required
  • Agency must supply a radiation badge — facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • 1 year of CT Scan Tech experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital setting
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system
