Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Variable) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting within an acute care environment
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to affiliate locations
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required by the facility
• Adhere to facility protocols within a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital setting

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or similarly resourced environment
• Comfort with variable scheduling and adaptability in a small-volume, high-acuity setting
