Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient assignment of 5–6 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Rotate every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement
• Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start date)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated telemetry competency

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
