EEG Technologist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings in both an ambulatory clinic setting (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and an acute hospital setting with 24-hour call coverage shared among the team.
- Participate in on-call rotation, including coverage approximately one weekend per month.
- Accurately document and chart patient data using Epic electronic health records system.
- Support neuro diagnostics services in an acute hospital environment, including Level II Trauma cases.
- Adhere to facility compliance requirements, including holiday coverage (2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's).
Required Qualifications
- Active REEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience.
- Proficiency with Epic charting system.
- Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted).
- Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital environment.
- Familiarity with ambulatory EEG clinic workflows in addition to inpatient neuro diagnostics.
