Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift – 12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit within a cardiovascular-focused facility
• Care for general surgery patients and vascular overflow on a med/surg unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data in accordance with unit protocols
• Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity, maintaining a full patient ratio
• Adhere to weekend, holiday, and scheduling requirements as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must pass an EKG competency test with a score of 80% or higher
• Experience in cardiovascular nursing
• Ability to float to any unit in an RN capacity and carry a full patient assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
• Prior experience with vascular or general surgery patient populations
