Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services in an outpatient clinic or inpatient/acute care setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and related disorders
- Manage a daily caseload and complete required patient visits per shift
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized patient treatment plans
- May float to support other units or campuses based on candidate experience and facility need
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Active ASHA certification required
- Active South Carolina State Licensure required prior to start date
- Radiation badge required — must be provided by the staffing agency prior to assignment start
- Must be able to complete pre-start compliance modules (approximately 4 hours, non-billable, completed prior to start)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient/acute care settings
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
- Flexibility to accommodate a block or alternative scheduling arrangement
