Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care unit with a primary focus on medical neurological patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring CVA care, external CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, and Yale Swallowing screenings
• Collaborate with a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD) that provides continuous monitoring surveillance for unit patients
• Participate in self-assisted scheduling through Optilink on 6-week scheduling periods
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must successfully pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (2 attempts allowed; no study materials provided)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license required to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
