Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical neurological patients in a 30-bed Progressive Care unit with centralized cardiac monitoring support
• Perform and interpret neurological and cardiac assessments, including CVA management and Yale Swallowing screenings
• Manage patients requiring external CPAP/BiPAP and TR band procedures
• Participate in self-assisted scheduling through Optilink on a 6-week scheduling cycle
• Float to other facility campuses as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must successfully pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
