Special Procedures Radiology Technologist (IR / Cardiology)

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | On-call required (approximately 8 shifts per month, rotating) | Holiday call may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a high volume of endovascular and special procedures including FEVAR/PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA repairs, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced hybrid imaging systems and portable C-arm equipment, including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements
- Manage and utilize vascular supplies such as balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths throughout procedures
- Accurately document patient care and procedural data using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Function independently and effectively under pressure within a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Special Procedures / IR Radiology Technologist
- Hybrid OR experience required
- Greater than 1 year of hands-on experience with Zeego and Pheno imaging systems
- Active radiation badge required (provided by agency)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with specialty devices including Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad
- Proficiency with PACS and advanced Siemens vascular imaging features and troubleshooting
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or high-acuity teaching facility environment
