Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Monday–Friday, 36 Hours/Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate complex vascular surgical cases including endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, carotid, thrombectomy, amputation, AV fistula, and cold leg procedures
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity vascular OR environment
- Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 6–8 calls per month including weekend call coverage
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain required radiation badge compliance
- Participate in holiday call rotation as required by department needs
- Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license — must be in hand at start of contract
- Minimum 2 years of vascular OR nursing experience
- Ability to both scrub and circulate complex vascular surgical cases
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications — must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Willingness to comply with radiation badge requirements (badge provided)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a vascular OR setting
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center or Magnet-designated hospital environments
- Experience in a teaching facility setting
