Registered Nurse – Vascular OR (CVOR)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Monday–Friday, 36 Hours/Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate complex vascular surgical cases including endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, carotid, thrombectomy, amputation, AV fistula, and cold leg procedures
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity vascular OR environment
• Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 6–8 calls per month including weekend call coverage
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain required radiation badge compliance
• Participate in holiday call rotation as required by department needs
• Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license — must be in hand at start of contract
• Minimum 2 years of vascular OR nursing experience
• Ability to both scrub and circulate complex vascular surgical cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications — must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Willingness to comply with radiation badge requirements (badge provided)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a vascular OR setting
• Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center or Magnet-designated hospital environments
• Experience in a teaching facility setting
