Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite | Primarily Monday–Friday with rotating weekends | On-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume acute care operating room environment
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotics
- Participate in on-call rotation, including a minimum of 3 call shifts per 6-week schedule, with at least one weekend call shift
- Float between facilities within the state as required by assignment needs
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience (hard requirement)
- Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency in at least 2 of the following 3 specialties: orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotics
- Willingness and availability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Proficiency in all three required specialties: orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotics
