Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, Variable) | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within an acute care, critical access hospital environment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a variable shift schedule
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to affiliate locations
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in weekend coverage and work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality emergency care in a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital setting
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers and declinations not accepted)
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility – local candidates not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level IV Trauma or Critical Access Hospital setting
- Familiarity with acute care environments that include long-term care and outpatient services
- Comfort working in remote or rural healthcare settings
