Travel Registered Nurse – Stepdown / PCU (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 9-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and telemetry observation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
  • Document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes accurately in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry setting
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience in a Stepdown or PCU environment
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Experience with electronic health record systems in an acute care setting
