Contract | Days | Onsite | Flexible shift lengths (8, 9, 10, or 12 hours as needed) | Monday through Sunday availability required, including Saturdays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to outpatient chronic renal (ESRD) patients in a dialysis setting
- Administer and monitor dialysis treatments in accordance with established protocols and patient care plans
- Float to additional outpatient dialysis locations in the region as needed
- Accurately document patient information and care using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be on file at time of submission
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of dialysis nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required and non-negotiable)
- Reliable personal or rental transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in this area — all-season or snow tires recommended November through April
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with outpatient dialysis workflows and ESRD patient populations
