Cardiovascular Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 10-Hour Shifts, 4 Days per Week | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support structural heart procedures in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Operate and maintain unit equipment including X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox systems
- Document patient care and procedure data accurately using Cerner EMR
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and adhere to all unit safety and clinical protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation, including every 5th weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Minimum 1 recent year of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
- Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Cath Lab-specific equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with structural heart procedures
- Familiarity with Mac Lab documentation and reporting systems
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into an established team environment
