Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:30–17:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services within an acute care hospital setting
  • Deliver rehabilitative care to patients, including those in acute rehabilitation units
  • Float between units within the facility and to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
  • Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience
  • Valid California Physical Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted)
  • Experience with or willingness to work in acute rehabilitation settings
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Willingness to float between units and sister facilities as assigned
  • Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior acute rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
  • Previous travel therapy experience in an acute care hospital environment
  • Familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced inpatient therapy workflows
