Contract | Days and Nights Rotation (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for a caseload of 5–6 patients on a busy orthopedic/spine unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG data to assess patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to like units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, documentation standards, and safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Orthopedic/Spine nursing setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass an EKG competency test prior to assignment
- Ability to rotate between day and night shifts, with adequate rest periods honored between shift changes
- Willingness to float to similar units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Orthopedic/Spine nursing experience
- Prior experience working in a high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environment
