CVOR Surgical Technologist

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45–15:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub and assist during cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
  • Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of instruments and supplies throughout surgical cases
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to support safe and efficient patient care in the OR
  • Participate in on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Adhere to department dress code, facility policies, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

  • NBSTSA certification (CST) required
  • Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery
  • Valid state license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
  • Travel experience in a CVOR setting required
  • Must be willing and available for on-call shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center environment
  • Familiarity with cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures across a broad range of case types
