Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting throughout the duration of the contract assignment
• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical staff to support efficient and effective OR operations
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotating every other weekend and holiday shifts in accordance with hospital staff rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact license eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing
• Ability to fulfill a 12-week travel contract assignment
• Availability to work days, rotating weekends, and holidays as required by facility policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or surgical specialty setting
• Familiarity with large acute care hospital environments and associated protocols
