Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite | Acute Care Hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one call shift per six-week rotation
- Work one Saturday shift per six-week rotation as part of the weekend requirement
- Float to like units as needed, including potential float to a nearby facility
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Los Angeles fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Willingness to float between facilities within the state as assigned
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Previous travel nursing experience in an acute care or surgical setting
