Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM | On-Call: Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures while supporting efficient patient flow and throughput.
  • Provide MRI safety screening for patients and staff, and assist with basic equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and image processing.
  • Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; follow downtime procedures and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel and complete necessary follow-up documentation.
  • Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working additional shifts or at alternate campuses as operationally required.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent.
  • Active MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Level I or Level II hospital experience required.
  • Basic computer proficiency required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a high-volume acute care or trauma-level facility.
  • Familiarity with PACS systems and image archiving workflows.
  • Experience supporting radiologists and referring physicians in a fast-paced imaging environment.
