Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support patients in developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living and work skills
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Oregon or eligibility to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Current NBCOT certification as a COTA
- Ability to work full-time day shifts for the duration of a 13-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
