Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 36 Hours Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down/IMC/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, and insulin drips
• Manage patients requiring trach vents, arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to lower-acuity floors within service line as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Fulfill weekend requirement of 2 shifts every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Step-Down, IMC, or PCU nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with vasopressor and sedation drip management in a monitored care environment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience managing patients with arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes
