Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg/PCU unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
- Monitor patients using a GE Telemetry system and document care using the Meditech EMR
- Perform IV and Foley catheter insertions as part of routine unit procedures
- Assist with chest tube removal in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters across day and night shifts
- Demonstrate initiative and serve as an engaged, proactive team member within the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Outgoing, team-oriented personality with a willingness to take initiative
