Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted | 13–26 week contracts accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients on a unit with a daily census of approximately 43
• Manage and monitor patients receiving Heparin drips, high flow oxygen, and limited short-term BiPAP with respiratory support
• Perform wound vac dressing changes and other general Med/Surg nursing procedures
• Document and communicate using EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR frameworks
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding as needed
• Participate in storm, hurricane, and inclement weather teams; may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending licensure acceptable for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BCLS certification required
• Must be available to work every other weekend and must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply; a lower rate applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification
• Charge nurse experience (charge role is preferred for night shift travelers)
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
