Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | No Weekends | No Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, acute care, and long-term care / swing bed settings within a critical access hospital
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across all covered service lines
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care across settings
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current NBCOT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting
- Familiarity with outpatient, acute care, and long-term care / swing bed environments
- Experience with Epic electronic health record charting
