Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float within the hospital system as required to support staffing needs across units
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and regulatory requirements, including timely completion of Ohio fingerprinting upon contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown or related clinical experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (Charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Experience with float assignments across multiple units or departments
• Strong adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
