Contract | Full-Time | Day Shift with On-Call Rotation (Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with a broad range of diagnostic and interventional procedures across Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Neurology, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology
• Verify patient identification, informed consent, allergies, and contrast reaction history prior to procedures; monitor and record vital signs and assess distal pulses pre- and post-procedure
• Scrub with the physician using sterile and aseptic technique; prepare and administer injectable medications per physician orders including analgesics, anticoagulants, thrombolytics, vasoactives, and emergency medications
• Advocate for radiation safety and protection; document fluoroscopy time and radiation dose; evaluate dose reports to confirm values are within established limits
• Acquire and process digital images including road mapping, subtraction, annotation, magnification, and 3D image reconstructions; select appropriate imaging protocols to optimize image quality while minimizing dose
• Provide post-procedural patient care including applying pressure to puncture sites, placing vascular closure devices, and providing practical instruction for students and partners

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• IEMA-DNS Radiography Accreditation required
• ARRT(R) certification required
• ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) certification required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Proficiency with ultrasound guidance for vascular access or organ access/biopsy
• Experience across multiple CVI specialties including Electrophysiology and Interventional Neurology
