Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' hearts
• Ensure patient care and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses
• Apply core knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance the accuracy of diagnostic imaging
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and explain procedures clearly to patients

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program required
• ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) registration or registry eligibility in Adult Echo required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with medical staff and patient interaction

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular ultrasound modalities
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing echocardiography exams
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a rural hospital setting
