Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an LDRP unit with a 7-bed capacity, following AWHONN acuity-based staffing ratios
- Perform and assist with labor and delivery procedures including induction of labor, vaginal delivery, C-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum care, D&C, vaginal repair, NST, IUFD, steroid injections (BMZ), and external cephalic version
- Serve as OR circulator for obstetric surgical cases including C-sections, tubal ligations, D&Cs, and vaginal repairs
- Conduct newborn resuscitation and attend deliveries for low-risk newborns
- Utilize GE Centricity Perinatal equipment and document within the EPIC EMR system
- Float to patient care tech (PCT) role during low-census periods as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor triage experience (QMP)
- OR circulator experience in an obstetric setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with IUPC and FSE placement
- Experience assisting with JADA, COOKS, or BAKRI placement
- 2 or more years of Labor and Delivery experience
