Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub independently on complex surgical cases including liver transplants, Whipple procedures, liver resections, and free flap surgeries
• Support a high-volume surgical environment averaging 35 cases per day across 22 operating rooms
• Assist with General, Urology, Thoracic, Gynecology, and Plastics surgical cases
• Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures
• Operate and assist with specialty equipment including the DaVinci XI robotic system
• Fulfill call requirements of 40–60 hours within every 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Transplant experience is required; must be able to scrub liver recipient transplants independently
• BCLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Valid license must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be accepted once permanent license application has been submitted
• 2 supervisor references required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; up to 5 non-holiday RTO days may be auto-approved
• Indiana residents are considered local and are eligible for this position
• Floating within the hospital or to affiliate facilities is 100% required of all travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with large open belly cases and complex multi-specialty procedures
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery, specifically the DaVinci XI platform
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced surgical environments
