Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Full-Time Hours | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry/medical-surgical setting during 12-hour night shifts
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
- Float to like units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Must pass EKG competency test prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of RN experience in telemetry or a related specialty
- Prior experience floating to similar acute care units
