Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform circulator duties across a wide range of elective and emergency surgical cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedic, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
  • Multi-task efficiently to ensure surgical cases proceed in a timely manner throughout the day
  • Utilize after-hour call services to staff the Operating Room during nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Maintain a safe and organized surgical environment in compliance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ADN); high school diploma or GED required
  • Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska — required at time of submission
  • Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Flu vaccine required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Current ACLS and/or PALS certification
  • Experience in a Critical Access Hospital and/or rural Operating Room setting strongly preferred
