Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite | Heavy Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing sound waves to create diagnostic images of the body's internal structures
• Produce accurate images of bones, organs, and tissues and combine findings to support clinical assessments
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a fast-paced acute care imaging environment
• Work independently across night shift hours, including weekends, with the ability to adapt to varying patient volumes
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient record management
• Respond to heavy call requirements as an essential component of this role

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential required
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Ability to work independently, think critically, and remain flexible in a dynamic clinical setting
• Willingness and availability to work nights, weekends, and respond to call as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience with GE ultrasound equipment, including the Discovery 450 platform
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Background in a teaching facility or high-acuity acute care environment
